Instant Confirmations

If you try out the Unipig demo, you'll notice that you have instant confirmations on your trades. We're able to get such fast confirmations without compromising on security by using Cryptoeconomics light clients.

When you send your transaction to the aggregator, they can send you a signed message containing: Which transition your transaction will be included in and which rollup block the transition will be included in. If the rollup block is included on-chain and your transaction is not included in the place the aggregator promised, then you can submit the signed message as proof that the aggregator lied and you will be awarded from their deposit.

For example, let's say there are currently 100 blocks in the rollup chain. Upon sending a transaction to the aggregator, they instantly send you a signed message that your transaction will be included in transition #3 of block #101. You can safely assume that your transaction will be included in the next rollup block.
